Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of a highly automated food and beverage manufacturing facility. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of production equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires strong knowledge in mechanical servicing and troubleshooting, as well as solid experience with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs. An ideal candidate should have excellent troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, mixers, bowl elevators, chains, sprockets, gears, motors, and gearboxes.Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems involving PLCs, VFDs, relays, contactors, solenoids, limit switches, encoders, and sensors.Use Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to monitor, adjust, and diagnose automated equipment performance.Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.Execute planned maintenance tasks and maintain accurate maintenance records.Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and retrofits as needed.Follow and enforce safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other maintenance staff to solve problems and improve equipment reliability.Assist with inventory of critical spare parts and tools.Essential Skills

High School Diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field is a plus3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably in food processing or automated manufacturing.Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in servicing moving machinery.Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and experience with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), VFDs, and HMIs.Ability to diagnose and resolve issues involving gearing, drive systems, and mechanical linkages.Proficient with basic hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipmentAbility to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced production environmentWillingness to work off-shifts, weekends, or respond to emergency calls if requiredWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
