Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to focus on maintenance in one or more of the following areas: welding, mechanical assembly or repair, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, carpentry, or HVAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing production and facility machinery and equipment, as well as maintaining physical structures and electrical systems within the facility.

ResponsibilitiesReview daily priority schedule with the supervisor and assess assignments.Ensure measuring devices are calibrated before commencing assignments.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and clean and lubricate equipment and tooling as needed.Report any operational problems with machines, tooling, or equipment to the Crew Lead or Department Manager.Conduct visual and audible inspections and tests on machines and equipment.Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to detect malfunctions and diagnose repairs needed to restore equipment to safe and efficient operating conditions.Determine materials and tools needed for repair and request them from maintenance inventory.Obtain and review machine maintenance and repair history and machine manuals as necessary.Dismantle defective machines and equipment, install new or repaired parts following specifications and blueprints, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.Verify optimum performance levels are met before closing out the order and prepare required documentation.Enter labor information into the computer system.Troubleshoot CNC controls and drives, and report issues to the machine manufacturer.Assist with maintenance inventory management.Handle and store hazardous/non-hazardous waste responsibly.Construct and repair structural woodwork and equipment in the facility, working from blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.Perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting using electronic voltmeters and ammeters.Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintain production machinery.Practice good housekeeping and properly dispose of waste according to safety and environmental policies.Essential Skills3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.3-5 years of experience working on HVAC.3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficient troubleshooting and repairing skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in hydraulics and pneumatics is advantageous.Strong problem-solving skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates on a first shift from 6 AM to 2 PM. The work environment is dynamic, with a focus on maintaining production efficiency and equipment safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Humble, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
