Job Description
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of material handling equipment. You will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment such as conveyors, performing battery changes, and conducting preventive maintenance routines. Your expertise in troubleshooting and identifying equipment problems will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.Complete preventive maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.Demonstrate knowledge of electrical basics and components.Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.QualificationsIndustrial maintenanceEquipment maintenance and diagnostic testingMechanical & Electrical troubleshootingPreventative maintenanceLockout proceduresConveyor systemsHydraulics and pneumaticsReading schematicsAdditional Skills & QualificationsAt least 6 months of experience in equipment maintenance within the last 2 years.Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries.Experience with Automotive, Military, or Industrial Facilities Maintenance.Preferred associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, or military training.Shift: ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE OPEN TO ANY 10 HOUR SHIFT. Work Environment
The role is set in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Performance tracking is conducted through data and numbers, ensuring expectations are met without micromanagement. Candidates should be comfortable walking up to 10,000 steps per day and be open to working any 10-hour shift available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, Florida.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.89 - $26.89/hr.
