Qualified candidates should be able to perform the following:_** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of a highly automated food and beverage production facility. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of production equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, mixers, bowl elevators, chains, sprockets, gears, motors, and gearboxes. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems involving PLCs, VFDs, relays, contactors, solenoids, limit switches, encoders, and sensors. + Use Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to monitor, adjust, and diagnose automated equipment performance. + Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. + Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. + Execute planned maintenance tasks and maintain accurate maintenance records. + Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and retrofits as needed. + Follow and enforce safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies. + Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other maintenance staff to solve problems and improve equipment reliability. + Assist with inventory of critical spare parts and tools. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in servicing moving machinery. + Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and experience with PLCs (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), VFDs, and HMIs. + Ability to diagnose and resolve issues involving gearing, drive systems, and mechanical linkages. + Proficient with basic hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
