Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, electrical and power systems, as well as building and grounds systems. This role ensures uninterrupted services and operations while managing the building safety program and assigned operational projects. The successful candidate will also manage, train, and coach technicians.
ResponsibilitiesManage and direct activities of maintenance technicians throughout the building.Train technicians in their assignments and facilitate professional development through on-the-job training, performance appraisals, and needs assessments.Recommend and assist in the development of training curricula.Direct the repair of all equipment, machinery, electrical and power systems, and building systems to ensure uninterrupted services and operations.Serve as a mentor and technical resource for technician troubleshooting and work methods.Recommend and plan maintenance programs and work schedules to minimize equipment downtime.Manage maintenance and repair of the building grounds, including lawn and landscape services, sanitary upkeep, and parking lot maintenance.Oversee department budget, hours worked, and assignments of work.Manage staffing needs, monitor turnover, and address volume requirements.Ensure compliance with company policies, programs, procedures, budgets, laws, and business ethics.Implement safety programs and conduct Manage by Walking Around (MBWA) to ensure team member safety.Observe and coach to maintain high standards of technician work methods and address team member concerns.Develop, review, and recommend methods of operational improvement within the functional area.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma/GED.At least 2 years of experience in a Maintenance lead position.Experience in a facilities, United States Armed Forces, distribution, and/or manufacturing environment.Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) including preventive maintenance system implementation and optimization.Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Experience in coaching, mentoring, and training others.Willingness to work rotating shifts.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in managing maintenance and repair tasks.Ability to recommend and plan maintenance programs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position requires working Tuesday through Friday from 2 pm to midnight. The work environment includes managing building systems and grounds maintenance with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. The role involves the use of CMMS and requires adherence to company policies and procedures.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
