**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Join one of the largest wire and steel fabricators in the United States as a Maintenance Technician. This role involves working with a company that manufactures a variety of products such as wire mesh decking, flue spacers, dividers, gridwall/slatwall, mine mesh, and fencing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install and troubleshoot production machines.
+ Interpret and follow blueprints and schematics.
+ Install and maintain complete production lines.
+ Research new trends and technologies to enhance operations.
+ Complete preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
+ Assist with improvements to production equipment and controls to increase productivity.
+ Interface with all levels of personnel to implement improvements that reduce downtime.
+ Carry out the goals, plans, and policies of the department, following all company guidelines.
+ Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Work collaboratively in a team-oriented process and participate actively.
+ Work with minimal supervision while multitasking to complete projects and support daily activities.
**Essential Skills**
+ Five years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance or completion of a three-year technical schooling program.
+ Basic computer and mathematical skills.
+ Experience in troubleshooting PLC programs, including Siemens, S5, S7, ABB, Bosch.
+ Proficient in control wiring and logic diagrams.
+ Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, and stooping.
+ Capability to work overtime as assigned.
+ Skillful in PLC and HMI troubleshooting.
+ Proficient in the use and programming of Servo systems (electrical and hydraulic).
+ Skilled in AC and DC drive set-up, programming, and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to interpret component catalogs.

+ Mechanical skills.
+ Knowledge in pneumatics and welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Strong troubleshooting abilities.

**Work Environment**
Work the night shift from 9PM to 7AM, Monday through Friday, in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Collaborate in a facility dedicated to high standards and continuous improvement, with a focus on teamwork and effective communication.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
