Job Description
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be a versatile professional with expertise in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. Your role involves ensuring the seamless operation of electromechanical systems, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across various shifts. ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.Drop power to machines and replace components such as proximity switches, hydraulic pumps, and cylinders.Install electrical boxes with PLCs and ensure compliance with National Electrical Codes and safety standards.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, utilizing considerable judgment.Determine whether equipment can continue operating or requires immediate repairs.Maintain and use hand tools, electrical tools, volt/ohm and amp meters, welders, and other testing equipment.Ensure safety through lockout/tagout procedures and effective use of transportation and lifting equipment.Essential SkillsExperience as a maintenance technician or maintenance electrician.Proficiency in using various hand and electrical tools, and meters.Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electromechanical systems.Knowledge of National Electrical Codes and OSHA standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsPursuing or completed an Associate's or Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.Six months of industrial maintenance experience.Basic welding and fabricating skills.Experience working in adverse conditions such as wet, hot, dusty, or cold environments.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a heavy industrial environment where you will travel between buildings to complete maintenance tasks. You may work in conditions that are wet, hot, dusty, dirty, or cold, making resilience and adaptability essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, Nebraska.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
