Job Description H.B. Fuller is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently at our Fridley plant. You’ll maintain and repair mixers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and chemical processing systems while troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, supporting PLC/load‑cell systems, completing emergency repairs, and documenting work in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work 12‑hour industrial shifts are required. Skills and Requirements • High school diploma or GED • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment • Experience with mixers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and material-handling equipment • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair skills • Willingness to obtain a Minnesota Boiler License (paid by H.B. Fuller) Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance • Comfortable working in an industrial, non‑climate‑controlled environment • Technical certifications or related degrees • Experience with PLC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and calibration • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems • Previous work with industrial chemical processing equipment • Experience operating fork trucks, scissor lifts, and material-handling equipment
