Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Now Hiring: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the operation and reliability of manufacturing and production equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesRepair and replace motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and other componentsRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manualsPerform basic electrical work including troubleshooting 3‑phase systems, motors, VFDs, and control circuitsAssist with equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioningMaintain maintenance records and follow work order proceduresAdhere to all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and plant standardsSupport production by responding quickly to equipment downtimeQualificationsPrevious experience as an industrial maintenance technician or maintenance mechanicStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills requiredWorking knowledge of electrical systems and controlsExperience with hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to read prints, schematics, and technical documentationStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsManufacturing or industrial environment experiencePLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)Welding or fabrication experience (MIG/TIG/stick)CMRT or similar maintenance certificationExperience with preventative maintenance programsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces as neededComfortable working around moving machinery and industrial environmentsBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid holidays and PTORetirement plan optionsStable, long-term employment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
