**Position Overview**
Our Client is seeking an **Industrial Maintenance Mechanic** , where you’ll play a vital role in keeping equipment and operations running safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for a hands-on, mechanically inclined professional who takes pride in diagnosing, repairing, and preventing equipment issues in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
**⚙️ Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform regular **safety inspections** in industrial, manufacturing, and/or repair settings to ensure compliance and operational safety.
+ Collaborate with department leads to **complete maintenance and repair projects** on Veolia equipment.
+ **Diagnose mechanical problems** and perform repairs or replacements of broken, worn, or malfunctioning components.
+ Participate in the **preventive maintenance program** , including identifying and addressing root causes of equipment damage or failure.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status to supervisors and production teams.
+ Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental standards.
**🧰 Qualifications & Skills**
+ Previous experience in **industrial, mechanical, or equipment maintenance** preferred.
+ Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
+ Commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
+ **No specific certifications required** — however, **mechanical, maintenance, or industrial certifications** are a plus.
