Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Job Title: Electro Mechanic

Job Description

This role is crucial in maintaining production and quality performance levels by efficiently using manufacturing equipment according to knowledge and training, in alignment with established Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practice.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, install, and repair equipment and machinery following SOPs and WIs.Adhere to all safety rules in accordance with SOPs, GMP, and federal, state, and local safety regulations.Demonstrate company values and adhere to the Code of Conduct.Participate in department or quality team meetings, suggest improvements, and work independently or with others to implement improvements.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, cleaning, and repairs of machinery and equipment.Troubleshoot and repair various electrical wiring, switches, relays, contactors, starters, AC/DC drives, and motors.Run conduit, wire outlets, breakers, transformers, and lighting.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic/pneumatic valves and cylinders, and replace or repair as needed.Rebuild rack and pinion on presses.Replace gears, pulleys, and various belts on machines, exhaust fans, and AC units.Maintain required records, logs, etc., regarding inspections, testing, maintenance, installation, and repairs of equipment and machinery.

Essential Skills

High School or GED equivalent.3-5 years of related mechanical and electrical experience.Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Mechanical and electrical ability.Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and blueprints.Ability to handle hazardous chemicals.Basic knowledge of PLCs, including Siemens.Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Ability to learn and implement GMP, SOPs, and other procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Licensure in forklift, plumbing, electrical, or boiler operation is a plus.Experience and knowledge of HVAC and Chiller systems.Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand operating and related procedures and complete all position-related documentation.

Work Environment

The role requires working approximately 10 hours weekly, with potential weekend work for repairs or shutdowns. Personal protective equipment must be worn where required, including closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, or protection from high noise levels. To ensure products satisfy quality levels, employees must wear protective clothing such as company-provided uniforms, coveralls, frocks, hairnets, and beard covers in certain facility areas. Mechanics are required to have 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85737.00 - $85737.00/yr.
