Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician I, where you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and emergency repair of processing equipment, bottle filling machines, and plastic blow molding equipment. Your mechanical aptitude will be essential in identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing light electrical troubleshooting, and executing repairs such as changing motors and wiring. You will also engage in MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel, although only MIG welding is required. This role involves working with hydraulics, pneumatics, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, and requires proficiency in using hand tools such as grinders, drills, and forklifts.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on processing equipment and bottle filling machines.Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and light electrical issues.Execute repairs, including changing motors and wiring.Conduct MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel.Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps.Utilize hand tools such as grinders, drills, and forklifts.Comply with OSHA Health and Safety rules.Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, cleaning, and organizing.Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a production environment.Mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting.Experience in welding, particularly MIG welding.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
