**Description** - Each day they will have a daily work order list to complete and plant inspections - Repair and troubleshoot gear boxes, drivers, conveyors, and motors - Repair and diagnose packaging equipment - Perform preventative maintenance on the manufacturing plant equipment - Work on 5 pistons that go 2000 RPM, heat exchanger, and gage systems - Replace sprockets, gear boxes, three phase motors - Read blue prints, P & ID Loops (Piping prints) - Must understand basic concepts of Electricity- troubleshoot relays, wiring, high voltage - Electrical skills for pulling wire and running conduit - General understanding of maintenance on Boilers and how they create steam to keep plant hot or cold - Understand Refrigeration (Freon and Ammonia)- CFC Universal - Welding/fabrication is a plus - Must have Own Tools **Skills** Troubleshooting, Pneumatics, mechanical, Air Compressor, Hydraulics, Gear Box, Conveyors, Pumps, Refrigeration, maintenance technician, preventive maintenance, industrial, plc troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** - Must have 5 yrs of mechanic experience - Great attitude, work ethic, team first - Work flexible days and shift they will know a week-two in advance when the schedule is made - Passion and desire to be an industrial maintenance mechanic - Day to day they don't do the same task so must be able to adapt and adjust - Firefighter mentality (plant runs 24/7 so willing to jump in and help if needed) - Willingness to learn - Mechanical- industrial plant manufacturing - GMP - Basic Electrical Skills - Hydraulics - Air compressors - Basic Refrigeration - Read P & ID prints **Nice to have** - PLC Troubleshooting - Welding/Fabrication - Boilers - Stationary Engineering License (Maryland 1st OR DC 3rd) **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $38.91 - $38.91/hr.
