**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of facility equipment. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this role ensures the facility and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and at high quality. The technician conducts preventative maintenance on equipment and ensures proper stock of parts. **Responsibilities** + Perform any and all duties related to maintenance, without outsourcing tasks. + Engage in all facets of maintenance, including machine maintenance, installations, electrical maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, facilities maintenance, and forklift maintenance. + Conduct walkthroughs of the building to address any items needing attention regarding the overall condition of the building and equipment. + Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment based on a preapproved PM program. + Assist in the installation of new equipment. + Maintain OSHA and corporate guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for coworkers. + Maintain equipment to ensure high-quality production efficiency. + Perform lockout/tagout procedures. + Repair machinery safely and efficiently. + Complete other assignments as required, within the job scope and abilities. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude with experience in maintenance mechanics. + Familiarity with 3 Phase Motor and 480 Volt systems. + Experience in preventative and mechanical maintenance. + Ability to diagnose problems and find solutions. + Experience working in a fast-paced, cold temperature environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent GED; technical school a plus. + 3+ years of related field experience. + Mechanical mindset with the ability to think outside the box. + Experience working on processing machinery in the foodservice industry is a plus. + Ability to read wiring diagrams and parts breakdowns is a plus. + Plumbing and HVAC experience would be a plus. + Technical or trade school experience preferred (AUTO, FAB, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.). + Self-motivated and a self-starter. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and innovative team where your skills and expertise are valued.
