Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with an electrical focus to join our team. This role involves strong troubleshooting of electrical cabinets and control-related work. While not a PLC programmer role, a solid understanding of sensors, motors, and overall systems for troubleshooting is essential.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical cabinets and control systems effectively.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.Utilize a multi-meter for various diagnostic tasks.Build and repair electrical cabinets proficiently.Apply understanding of electrical theory and power supply.Work safely with 480 volts.Understand and work with sensors, motors, and switches.Interpret ladder logic for troubleshooting purposes.

Essential Skills

Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Proficient use of a multi-meter.Understanding of electrical theory and power supply.Capability to work safely with 480 volts.Knowledge of sensors, motors, and switches.Interpretation of ladder logic for troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in electrical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.Proficient in wiring and repair tasks.Experience with preventive maintenance and 3-phase systems.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems on the production line quickly.Familiarity with industrial blueprints.
