The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, overhaul and maintenance of company heavy equipment and/or components.

3rd shift: M-F 11p-7a overtime and weekends as needed

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Perform on highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and
the plant facility's equipmentPerform on emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during
production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
during machine servicePerform mechanics duties and responsibilitiesPerform electrician duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and
hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesPerform electrical skills including, but not limited to, basic electrical troubleshooting,
uploading PLC programs, saving PLC programs, changing PLC programs as needed,
programming VFD’s, programming drives, running conduit and power to new
equipment, replacing electrical hardwarePerform electrical troubleshootingRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required
maintenance and serviceRead and interpret electrical schematics and PLC programsDiagnose mechanical and electrical problems, replace or repair parts, test and make
adjustmentsPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Fluent in EnglishBilingual in Spanish a plus5 + years manufacturing experience preferably in a paper converting/corrugated
environmentKnowledge of basic tools, power tools, electrical meters, pneumatic blue print
reading, hydraulic blue print reading, and electrical schematic readingKnowledge of basic pneumatic & hydraulic blue print reading and electrical schematic
readingKnowledge in the following programs: Lenz Global, RS logic 5,500 and 5,000,
Workshop 505, Siemens Step 7Ability to work in fast-paced environmentGood interpersonal skillsHighly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated individual (proactive attitude)Lean ManagementAbility to perform mechanical troubleshootingAbility to perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshootingAbility to deal with various situationsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamMust be able to perform repairs unsupervised, troubleshoot intermediate electrical

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand occasionally, walk frequently, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, use telephone, speak and listen frequently.
