Job Title: Maintenance Technician & Conveyor Mechanic

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing both electrical and mechanical system, including components of machinery and equipment. You will follow safety codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

- Assist senior mechanics and maintenance staff with conveyor system repairs and adjustments  

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyor belts, rollers, chains, sprockets, motors, and bearings  

- Support troubleshooting of mechanical and basic electrical issues under supervision  

- Replace worn or defective parts such as belts, bearings, and chains to maintain equipment reliability  

- Dismantle and reassemble conveyor components for cleaning, repair, or replacement  

- Use hand and power tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, cordless drills, and basic electrical testing devices  

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment  

- Report equipment malfunctions and assist in documenting corrective actions  

- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations  

- Assist with installation or relocation of conveyor equipment as directed  

Essential Skills

- 1–3 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience  

- Basic knowledge of conveyor systems and moving parts  

- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively  

- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices  

- Willingness to learn troubleshooting methods and equipment repair techniques  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with basic electrical wiring and mechanical assembly  

- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from senior staff  

- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
