**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Location: Burlington IA** **Pay Range:** J **ob description for an industrial maintenance technician includes** : + Ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment + Installing new equipment + Performing regular services and maintenance procedures + Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns + Inspecting and updating equipment lubricant + Maintaining boilers, generators and tanks + Evaluating system breakdowns to minimize the impact + Repairing electrical and mechanical equipment + Ensuring equipment meets standards + Scheduling routine maintenance + Ordering materials and equipment that need replacement + Diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and monitoring machinery and machine parts + Using a variety of mechanical equipment such as power tools, hoists, forklifts, and hand tools, such as wrenches and precision measuring micrometers, to perform emergency, scheduled, and preventive maintenance + Identifying faulty equipment, making relevant adjustments to machinery, carrying out maintenance tasks in a conservative manner, communicating problems to staff, and maintaining technical knowledge through refresher workshops.
