Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join their team on 3rd shift . As an Industrial Machinery Mechanic, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing operations, supporting the maintenance and repair of essential machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, industrial mechanic skills and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. **Job Title:** Industrial Machinery Mechanic **Location:** Altavista, VA **Pay Range:** $20 **Shift:** Midnight to 8 a.m. **What's the Job?** + Experience in machinery repair and troubleshooting is necessary for this job. + Manage and maintain a set of looms to ensure optimal efficiency for fabric production. + Perform routine inspections and general maintenance of all machinery, including looms and auxiliary equipment. + Diagnose and repair machine conditions affecting yarn quality, including programming AR39 computers and changing travelers. + Collaborate with product development to develop new yarn configurations and characteristics, and prepare setup sheets accordingly. **What's Needed?** + Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine setup, operation, and maintenance. + High School diploma or GED required. + Ability to diagnose and repair machinery issues effectively. + Ability to pass mechanical aptitude test, background check and drug screen. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during scheduled shifts. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work with a reputable organization in the industrial sector. + Engage in meaningful work that directly impacts production efficiency. + Develop technical skills in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. + Work in a supportive environment that values safety and quality. + Potential for career growth within the organization.
