What to Expect: As an Industrial HVAC Technician you will being a Journeyman or Master HVAC Technician licensure, be fully capable of diagnosing and leading repairs on complex HVAC, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting new equipment installations across the manufacturing plant.

Your Role Day to Day: As an Industrial HVAC Technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and leading repairs on HVAC system breakdowns while supporting root‑cause analysis efforts. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC principles, including refrigerant handling, recovery, and charging, as well as the ability to interpret complex schematics and resolve technical issues on production and facility equipment. Duties include performing accurate and timely preventive maintenance, coordinating safety procedures such as lockout/tagout and safe lift operation, and supporting the installation of new manufacturing equipment.

What you will have (Basic Requirements):

Journeyman or Master HVAC Technician (Class C Required)3 years minimum cumulative industrial HVAC experience within manufacturing and other industrial related industriesAbility to read schematics

Top Candidates Will Also Have (Preferrred Requirements):

Prior experience within a Caterpillar facilityAdvanced diagnostic and troubleshooting on HVAC Production and Facility equipmentAdvanced electronic, pneumatic and Hydraulic systems knowledge

Summary Pay Range:

$26.25 - $33.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
