Our client, a leader in industrial facilities management, is seeking a Service Equipment Mechanic to join their team. As a Service Equipment Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.
**Job Title:** Service Equipment Mechanic
**Location:** New Bedford, MA
**Pay Range: $30.32-$42.78 (based on experience)**
**Shift: 7am-3pm with mandatory OT as needed**
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS), ensuring optimal operation of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
+ Document preventative maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Maintain parts inventory and manage work orders through CMMS.
+ Calibrate monitoring equipment to ensure system accuracy.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ A minimum of 3 years of experience in Building Services, particularly with HVAC systems.
+ Universal Refrigeration License is required.
+ Proficiency in mechanical systems and production equipment.
+ Strong computer skills, especially with Windows-based systems.
