This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. **This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.** **In this job, you will:** + Serve as the on-site industrial engineer for a manufacturing work center + Maintain oversight, rapport, and direct awareness with all production team member and their activities. + Conduct time studies, develop standard operating procedures, and create staffing models. + Estimate lead times to support program proposals and MRP. + Collect and analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements. + Monitor labor and capital resource utilization, developing plans for efficiency and capacity management. + Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. + Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows. + Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material and equipment delivery. + Participate in project meetings and execute special studies and projects. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
