Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented **Industrial Engineer I-III** based at our **Berea, KY** manufacturing facility.
What you will do:
+ Support the design, setup, and improvement of material‑handling systems such as supermarkets, kitting areas, and milk‑run routes.
+ Maintain and update material‑flow data, includingbillof materials, engineering changes, and new product or process introductions.
+ Analyze material movement toidentifybottlenecks, improve flow, and enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
+ Monitor impacts of manufacturing or process changes and adjust material‑flow strategies accordingly.
+ Collaborate with production, supply chain, engineering, and other teams to provide recommendations and support improvement initiatives.
+ Assistwith planning and scheduling systems to reduce queue times and support just‑in‑time delivery.
+ Support implementation and improvement of software, hardware, and equipment used for material‑flow activities.
+ Develop project plans, track progress, communicate updates, and help drive successful project execution.
**Level II Additions:**
+ Lead smaller‑scale implementations of supermarket design and milk‑run processes.
**Level III Additions:**
+ Lead major material‑flow improvement initiatives and drive alignment with broader operational strategies.

What you will need:
**Level I:**
+ Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, ora relatedfield.
+ Up to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
+ Experience with material‑flow or material‑handling concepts preferred.
**Level II:**
+ Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, orrelatedfield.
+ 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
+ 2-3 years of experience in material‑flow or internal‑logisticsprocesses preferred.
**Level III:**
+ Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, orrelatedfield.
+ 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
+ 3-5 years of experience with advanced material‑flow strategies such as kitting, supermarket design, or milk‑run systems.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
+ Knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes and material‑handling systems.
+ Ability to design, analyze, andoptimizematerial‑flow layouts andlogisticsmethods.
+ Familiarity with lean principles and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex process issues.
+ Experience developing innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges.
+ Strong project‑management skills and experience leading cross‑functional efforts.
+ Ability to support teams through process changes and new‑system adoption.
