Industrial Engineer
Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer responsible for implementing continuous improvements on the production floor. The role involves identifying time savings and cost reductions, collaborating with Engineers and the Production team, implementing capacity improvements, and conducting process gap analysis. You will lead problem-solving initiatives at the production level and coach team members in new techniques and improvements.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with team members to enhance how they see and use data, specifically improving the data management system primarily using Excel.Identify and lead Kaizen/process improvement projects.Coach and teach lean techniques, re-educating Supervisors, Captains, and Leads.Document processes and improvements in Kaizen/process improvement initiatives.Train and coach team members with strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.Essential SkillsStrong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.Expertise in industrial engineering and time studies.Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, SQL, and Excel macros.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including V-lookup and other programming techniques.Degree in an Engineering-related discipline, preferably Industrial Engineering.Energetic individual with the ability to motivate others and hold the attention of a group.A serving spirit with a team-first approach and eagerness to learn.Work Environment

This position is within a climate-controlled electronic component manufacturing environment. The assembly equipment is heavily automated, and employees are required to wear ESD shoes, a smock, and a hairnet on the floor. It is a clean room environment with a strong focus on teamwork and work-life balance. The site supports all levels of the Product Life Cycle from design through production, offering growth opportunities for motivated engineers.

This is a Contract position based out of Harrodsburg, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
