We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for our 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm, Monday through Friday) to perform electrical maintenance in the can line department. This role offers an hourly wage of $36-$41 and is based in Rittman, OH.
ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical maintenance repairs on motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, fans, screens, and cylinders.Troubleshoot equipment and conduct preventative maintenance.Execute Lockout/Tagout procedures.Work with fine details to identify and solve problems.Collaborate with others to translate issues and ensure communication between shifts.Essential SkillsExperience with motor breakdown and troubleshooting for both 3 phase and single phase systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.High voltage experience with 480V and 240V systems, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.Proficiency in electrical conduit bending, wiring, and installation.Skills in PLC troubleshooting and industrial electrical maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in paper or steel mills, chemical plants, or similar industrial environments.Familiarity with high-speed packaging and bagging equipment is a plus.Industrial Maintenance Technician certification or equivalent experience is preferred.Why Work Here?Our company offers a generous sign-on bonus, competitive benefits including 401k with a 6% company match, and comprehensive health coverage through BlueCross/BlueShield. Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a salt facility that experiences seasonal temperature variations—hot in summer and cold in winter. Candidates must be open to working weekends, with potential shifts up to 12 hours, and being on call some days.
