Industrial Electrician
**Job Title: Industrial Electrician** Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems and components on industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, industrial automation, and safety protocols, ensuring that all electrical work meets company standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities + Install and repair electrical wiring on custom-built equipment in compliance with local and national electrical codes. + Work with 480V electric systems and components. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical components on industrial machinery and production equipment. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and specifications. + Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation using specialized testing equipment. + Collaborate with production teams to diagnose issues and implement solutions quickly and efficiently. + Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies. + Support electrical upgrades, system improvements, and new equipment installations. + Perform all tasks requested by management. Essential Skills + Electrical troubleshooting, particularly with 3-phase motors. + Proficiency in wiring and conduit installation. + Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical diagrams. + Strong knowledge of industrial controls, PLCs, and automation. + Proficient in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment. + Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and other relevant safety standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certification or Associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred. + Valid Electrician License or Journeyman status (where applicable). + Minimum of 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Work Environment The position is located in a heavy manufacturing job shop environment that is not climate-controlled, meaning it can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The role requires physical endurance, including the ability to stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods, as well as lift and move up to 50 lbs. Be prepared to work in industrial environments with exposure to heat and noise. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Holland, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
