**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician** Job Description The Maintenance Electrician will be tasked with ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities through routine upkeep, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our production lines. Responsibilities + Perform equipment and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. + Ensure production lines are operational and respond promptly to maintenance issues in designated areas. + Log repair activities to track recurring issues and improve processes. + Bend conduit and pull wire for electrical services. + Troubleshoot control systems and utilize standard electrical test equipment. + Understand and decipher PLC ladder logic, and perform PLC system upkeep. + Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery including valves, drives, presses, laser machines, saws, benders, automated welders, and robots. + Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to safe work habits. + Dismantle machines and perform necessary repairs using hand tools. + Replace broken or defective parts and troubleshoot problems. + Read blueprints and schematics, and use laptops for machine diagnostics. + Diagnose and repair issues with process machinery. + Occasionally perform other tasks such as draining, cleaning, and filling water tanks, running wire to new machines, and setting up warehouse racking. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in manufacturing settings. + Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform electrical and mechanical repairs. + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, including interpreting ladder logic. + Ability to repair and replace hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Strong electrical skills, with the ability to read schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Technical certification or associate degree is advantageous but not required. + Preferred experience in welding, including Mig, Tig, and Stick Welding.
