Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to work in a cold storage facility. This role involves working with 490 V, 120vAC, and 24vDC electricity. Intermediate experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
ResponsibilitiesWork with 490 V, 120vAC, and 24vDC electricity.Troubleshoot and replace drives.Diagnose and repair switches, proxes, and photoeyes.Read and interpret wiring schematics and blueprints.Perform conduit bending and electrical repairs.Essential SkillsExperience with 480 V, 120vAC, and 24vDC electricity.Basic knowledge of HMI systems.Ability to troubleshoot electrical components such as drives, switches, and proxes.Ability to read schematics and perform conduit work.Additional Skills & QualificationsSolid work tenure in industrial electrical roles.Experience in troubleshooting photoeyes and basic HMI operations.Ability to learn new skills related to electrical systems and components.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is within a cold storage facility where employees work near fish, shellfish, and other common allergens. The role is primarily day shift, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work.

This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
