Job Description

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. This role primarily involves project work for large plants, and you will be working in safe, monitored areas away from electrical components.

ResponsibilitiesInstallation and Maintenance: Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.Testing and Troubleshooting: Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.Equipment Handling: Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, reactors, electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.Instrumentation: May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devicesWork EnvironmentIndustrial Facilities: Work in industrial facilities, repairing lighting systems and supporting cell phone tower installation projects in the WNY area.Safety First: The work environment can include odors and hazardous materials at times, with safety being a priority. Candidates may work on ladders, lifts, and high voltage areas.Comfortable Attire: Report to job sites from our shop located in Niagara Falls / Sanborn, wearing jeans and comfortable work clothing. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
