**Job Title: Industrial Electrician Trainee**

**Responsibilities**
+ Use safety devices and protective equipment while employing safe work practices and methods for operating all necessary tools and equipment.
+ Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electromechanical component systems for concrete masonry plant equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Operate motor vehicles and mobile equipment, including man lifts and forklifts, safely.
+ Plan work effectively and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
+ Identify and report any hazardous conditions to employees or contractors.
+ Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
+ Quickly assess issues during breakdowns, communicate with equipment operators, and apply troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to repair equipment efficiently to minimize downtime.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
+ Thorough knowledge of electrical principles and maintenance methods for electrical/electromechanical systems.
+ Understanding of safety rules related to electrical work and standard procedures.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment for safe installation of new and replacement parts.
+ Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Basic PLC experience.
+ Ability to respond to emergency calls after normal working hours.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in running and bending conduit.
+ Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Knowledge of electrical safety.

**Work Environment**
Work is conducted both outdoors and indoors, experiencing various weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, dust, and wind. You will operate heavy equipment and machinery as part of your duties. The job requires physical capabilities such as working at heights on aerial lifts, stepladders, and extension ladders, working in confined spaces, and handling physical demands like walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 90 pounds. All work is performed in accordance with safety policies.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Holland, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
