Join a privately held EPC and industrial construction services firm as an Engineering Manager. This role blends technical expertise with leadership—managing a small internal team and external engineering partners while remaining hands-on in design and project coordination. The Engineering Manager will ensure all engineering deliverables align with project schedules, budgets, and construction needs. – Oversee and contribute to engineering design and execution for industrial construction projects
– Manage and mentor a team of 4–5 internal engineers and coordinate third-party engineering subcontractors
– Maintain alignment between engineering output and project construction schedules
– Visit job sites as needed to resolve technical issues and support field operations
– Lead and facilitate team meetings, client communications, and project reviewsQualifications and Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Professional Engineer (PE) license mandatory
– 10+ years of experience in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) or industrial project environments
– Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, and civil systems in industrial applications
– Skilled communicator with proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractor performance
– Proficiency in Autodesk and Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with project scheduling software a plus
