Position Overview:
Boeing India Finance team is currently looking for India APAC Payroll Manager to join their team in Bangalore, India.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and be accountable for end-to-end payroll delivery for India and assigned APAC markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance and on-time processing.Translate strategy into program-level execution plans, define workstreams, set priorities and manage cross-functional dependencies.Establish and track program KPIs and metrics to drive first-time quality, SLA achievement and continuous improvement.Manage and develop the payroll team: hire, coach, set objectives, and conduct performance management to build capability and capacity.Act as primary liaison with payroll vendors (e.g., CloudPay, TCS) and platform owners (Workday, ServiceNow), managing escalations and integration deliverables.Design and implement scalable payroll processes, controls and documentation. Maintain process documentation materials for internal teams and external partners.Lead issue resolution and post-payroll reconciliation activities: own root-cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.Drive stakeholder communication and governance: maintain stakeholder contact plans, provide regular status reporting and escalate risks/issues appropriately.Apply systems thinking to identify interdependencies across HR, payroll, timekeeping and attendance systems; assess impact of changes and lead cross-functional change initiatives.Promote and embed best management practices, digital literacy and a positive employee experience within the payroll organization.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as Basic Qualification12+ years of payroll experience in the region with at least 2–4 years in a managerial or senior lead role (or equivalent).Hands-on experience with global payroll platforms and vendor management.Demonstrated records of improving payroll accuracy, controls and operational efficiency.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Deep knowledge of India payroll requirements and tax/regulatory landscape; familiarity with payroll compliance across APAC markets.Proven experience managing payroll operations on payroll platforms and with vendor ecosystems — CloudPay, Workday and ServiceNow experience preferred.Strong capability in pre-payroll processes, pay calculation exceptions, and post-payroll troubleshooting and reconciliation.Demonstrated ability to design and maintain effective payroll controls, documentation and training.Experience defining and managing KPIs, SLAs and operational metrics to drive service excellence.Comfortable with integration architecture and understanding how payroll interacts with HR, finance and timekeeping systems.Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and 12 or more years' related work experience.
