What you'll do...

About the Team:
Join our pioneering engineering team building an AI assistant platform for smart TVs. You will lead critical software development efforts spanning embedded Linux clients on TVs and cloud services on Azure Linux, driving delivery of a cutting-edge product integrating LLM-powered tool invocation and content search.

What you'll do :

Architect, design, and implement scalable, robust software components in Python for both client (Linux TV) and cloud (Azure) environments.Lead the development and improvement of AI tool orchestration logic (RAG-based), improving LLM tool-calling accuracy and overall system reliability.Collaborate closely with cross-division teams to integrate or, if needed, build content search services.Drive cloud migration efforts, gaining and applying Azure expertise to replace prior AWS components.Mentor and guide mid-level engineers; establish engineering best practices and code reviews in Azure DevOps.Proactively identify and resolve issues arising from product launch and user feedback.Participate in sprint planning and contribute to roadmap prioritization considering tight delivery timelines.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.10+ years software development experience with significant work in Python including async calling.Strong Linux experience, particularly embedded or client-side software development.Proven experience building cloud services on Azure (or AWS with willingness to rapidly upskill in Azure).Familiarity in Large Language Models, RAG frameworks, and AI tool orchestration. Experience with databases, preferably CosmosDB or other NoSQL/document stores; familiarity with vector search extensions a plus.Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.Strong debugging, problem-solving skills; ability to handle production support issues calmly and effectively. Excellent communication skills for working with remote teams and multiple stakeholders. Prior experience working with cross-division or cross-company teams is a bonus.Experience or interest in multilingual NLP and internationalization (i18n) best practices.Familiarity with speech-to-text technologies, audio streaming protocols, or media pipelines.Ability to work with audio codecs, Linux audio subsystems, and streaming frameworks is a plus.
