Included in this are data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers. Team deliver a resilient, scalable and efficient platform that powers Walmart next retail disruption. PSDO aimed to improve the overall platform services SLO/SLIs, reducing the recovery time for services to provide reliable services to the customers. The organization envision to build SRE tools and processes to make the production operations and management easier and intuitive to the developers and application teams. The teams adopts best of breed technologies including AI, ML, Observability tools to drive fewer, smaller and less impactful incidents
What you'll do:
What you'll bring:
20+ years of experience in platform and cutting edge product development space with good technology, consulting and product knowledge.Deep expertise in platform product development, Site Reliability Engineering, defining, designing and building SRE tools to aid in production operations and management.Strong hands-on knowledge in technology & product leader in conceptualizing, incubating and building at least few platform products in the tier 0/1 products like API Gateway, SSO Solution, Edge Solutions, Telemetry solutions, Containerization solutions, Streaming and big data in private and public cloud environment.Strong technical background with the capability of having product design conversation with the engineering team and providing strategic thought leadership in shaping the product roadmapExperience in building large-scale high available resilient platform products leveraging private and public data centre in cloud native pattern that represent broad strategic initiatives.Sound understanding of architecturally significant requirements and patterns in implementation of high availability, resilient, high performance and scalable solutions.Experience in setting up large scale support and operations team with well-defined processes to support internal developers/teams and external customers.Proven work experience overseeing, strategizing, and optimizing all aspects of software/systems support management including staffing, shift operations, products, technology etc.Expertise in developing/enhancing the key support metrics to measure the effectiveness of the team members, processes, operations to achieve higher developer satisfaction and customer CSAT/NPS scores.Experience in hiring, coaching and managing a team of high potential platform, product & support engineers.Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, ability to negotiate and drive difficult conversation in influencing the product adoption.Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment in managing technology-intensive, time-sensitive, geographically dispersed product support organization across multiple locations and multiple domains.Proven ability to manage ambiguity and preparedness to get things done.Our ideal candidate is energetic; self-motivated individual focused on solving customer problems.
