Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Income Tax Manager with a strong background in income tax provisions to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Director of Tax and oversee a team of two individuals. This role is crucial in completing the company's federal and state income tax returns, as well as handling various tax projects throughout the year.
Responsibilities
Prepare or oversee the preparation of a variety of federal and state tax returns and supporting tax calculations.Assist with the preparation and review of the quarterly ASC 740 and FIN 48 calculations.Review and analyze state income and franchise tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payment calculations, and other tax returns and compliance calculations.Conduct thorough tax research and prepare analysis of various findings.Assist with tax audits and tax planning projects.Oversee Unclaimed Property reporting.Manage the filing of the Company’s Annual US State and Canadian Provincial Reports.Handle other projects as they arise.Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or private industry with increasing responsibilities in Tax.Experience in tax planning and research, tax return preparation, and ASC 740.Proficiency in using OneSource software for federal returns.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Motivated self-starter.Additional Skills & Qualifications
CPA credential is a plus.Experience with Corptax is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
