Inbound Logistics Coordinator
About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination of inbound shipments and supporting internal teams with logistics operations. You’ll manage pickups, dispatch drivers, maintain accurate records, and assist with supplier onboarding and cost tracking.

This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to supplier inquiries via phone and email regarding pickups, ETAs, and post-pickup documentation.Create supplier purchase orders and pickup numbers using internal systems.Dispatch drivers and generate pickup sheets and unloading reports.Manage incoming scale traffic using database software.Support the sales team with new supplier onboarding and cost updates.Track equipment onsite/offsite and follow up on received shipments to ensure timely supplier payments.Communicate with operations regarding trailer status and enter received grades into system software.Troubleshoot service issues and assist with monthly closeout activities.Perform general office duties and support freight team with equipment repairs and DOT renewals.Enter internal freight invoices and ensure outsourced freight bills are processed promptly.Cross-train as an Outbound Logistics Coordinator to provide backup support when needed.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in import/export.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing office environment.High School Diploma or GED.Skills & CompetenciesLogistics, shipping & receiving, freight, transportation, inventory control.Strong customer service and data entry capabilities.Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.Professional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and interpret business documents and present information clearly.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Sound judgment and ability to follow written and oral instructions.Team-oriented with a flexible and collaborative approach.Why Join Us?Be part of a supportive and innovative logistics team.Opportunities for cross-training and professional growth.Work in a role that directly impacts operational success and supplier satisfaction.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
