Role overview:
The in-house Games Linguist position will be based at Keywords Tokyo. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on videogames localization. Passionate about providing high quality translations and turning them into great gaming experience, you will be part of this adventure, translating world-renowned games.
The role is to translate from Japanese into English, a variety of game content: seasonal and permanent content, as well as offer cards, informational popups, and just about anything else the player might read in-game!
This role requires excellent language skills, creativity and a passion for Games.
Duties and responsibilities:
Translate, review & proofread content from Japanese into English to a high-quality standard.Create, review and maintain style guides, glossaries and translation memories.Fix linguistic bugs reported by the testing team.Provide support and linguistic feedback to internal & external teamsAssist with Review Reports and QA reports as needed.
