We are seeking a highly motivated Improvement Engineer who will support Cyrel® packaging printing plate manufacturing. The Parlin site in New Jersey is one of two primary manufacturing locations to produce Cyrel® packaging printing plates for DuPont and is located approximately 35 miles south of New York City. There is an existing group of engineers currently supporting these manufacturing lines.
The improvement engineer will provide technical expertise to improve our competitive advantage for one or more technology areas. This will involve leading continuous improvement projects for the manufacturing processes, equipment, and products using existing and new technologies.
Your key Responsibilities:
Leads implementation of solutions to improve Cyrel® manufacturing process capability and capacity, foundational asset reliability, quality, and variable production cost. Leads or participates in Cyrel® GPMP (global project management process) improvement projects.Leads troubleshooting and root cause analysis for major process deviation and issues.Provides process engineers technical consultation for day-to-day operation.Initiate mid- to long-term capital projects aligned with business strategy.Provides basic data and execution for the capital projects and provides resourcing support (e.g., development plans for commissioning, decommissioning, start-up, and shut down).Provides manufacturing inputs for new product and process developments, and manufacturing evaluations during appropriate phase of new product development.Leads PSM (process safety management) elements including process technology, PHA (process hazard analysis), MOC-T (management of change – technology)).Qualifications:
Bachelors (or higher) degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.Over 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environmentStrong project management skillsGood problem-solving ability, strong interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Team), SharePoint, Salesforce.com, ETQ reliance, TrakSYS, IP21, LIMS, JMP, Minitab and so on.Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification (preferred)Continuous Improvement or Lean Experience (preferred)Demonstrated leadership of teams (preferred)SAP experience (preferred)Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!

The Pay range for this role is $110,740.00 - $174,020.00 Annual
