You will execute our import and export operations to ensure our goods arrive on time at the lowest landed cost while ensuring customs compliance with regulations. To excel in this role, you will work collaboratively with business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. Externally, you will be responsible for the operational management of third-party logistics vendors, customs brokers, freight forwarders and other stakeholders needed to perform and deliver the requirements of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for activities such as documentation preparation (invoice, packing list, bills of lading), customs management, track and trace, claims management, invoice billing management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, and third-party performance management.

How you will contribute

You will:

Provide a high-level of service to the export intercompany shipments process conducted by direct reports and support to all functions involved in the processBe responsible for export of intercompany shipments including SAP billing documents creationBe responsible for other export documents preparation – all of types of certificatesCooperate with external parties—for example customs agenciesCooperate with the warehouse team and third-party logistics operators for shipment preparation

Import Specialist to manage and coordinate end-to-end import operations into Egypt, ensuring compliance with local regulations, efficient customs clearance, and cost-effective logistics execution.

 

What you need to know about this position:

 

Key Responsibilities
 

Manage the full import cycle from supplier coordination to final delivery at warehouseReview, and verify import documentation including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, and other regulatory documentsEnsure compliance with Egyptian import regulations, including, NAFEZA, ACID, Form 4, and relevant HS code classificationsCoordinate customs clearance with brokers, freight forwarders, and government authoritiesMonitor shipment status, follow up on delays, and proactively resolve clearance or logistics issuesLiaise with suppliers, banks, shipping lines, and internal teams (planning, finance, WH)Track KPIs related to lead time, clearance efficiency, and cost performanceMaintain accurate import records and ensure audit readiness

Education / Certifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

  

Job specific requirements:

 0-2 years' experience Strong knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations, NAFEZA system, ACID process.Experience dealing with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping linesSolid understanding of Incoterms, HS codes, and international trade documentationProficiency in MS Excel Strong communication skills in English)
