If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level. **Job Description:** **Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics** (formerly Marken, MNX & Polar Speed), the clinical and advanced therapy subsidiary of UPS Healthcare, unites expertise across healthcare and complex secure logistics to drive the success of our clients through innovation. **Job Purpose:** To process and coordinate daily logistics import activities. Implement production, productivity, quality, and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time constraints. **Main Duties and Responsibilities:** + Review import documents for accuracy and completeness + Ensure regulatory requirements are met, and proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, exists for shipments; Knowledge of 3461 and 7501 documentation necessary + Have a strong knowledge of US import entry process, rules, and compliance + Communicate with clients about import and Customs related issues + Troubleshoot import related Customs and other government agency delays + Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to carrier, forwarders, customers, and agents in a timely manner + Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, etc.) + Maintain courteous, prompt, and efficient customer relations + Develop and maintain successful relationships with local vendors (e.g. airline representatives, freight forwarders, custom brokers) + Communicate with customer, supply chain and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met + Collaborate with various on cross department activities promoting process optimization + Interfaces and assists other departments with process/compliance questions that may arise regarding import shipments + Hourly pay of $18.75 - 23.45 per hour **Qualifications:** + High School completion or equivalent. + 1+ years of direct US import entry process, rules, and compliance knowledge and expertise + Professional experience in customer service operations, preferentially in the international air freight, logistics or distribution + Preference for existing knowledge and experience of the pharmaceutical and clinical trial industry + Commitment to quality and attention to detail + Strong customer focus + Team player / self-dependent / motivated to succeed + Proficient in MS Office / Excel / Word + Unquestionable character and integrity **Working Conditions:** Occasional evening and weekend work upon request. **Employee Type:** Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. **Other Criteria:** UPS is an equal opportunity employer.
