PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        As a study director responsible for new immune-mediated inflammatory disease (IMID) animal model development and validation

·        As a study director responsible for the design and execution of IMID related studies from external clients

·        Responsible for establishing a working partnership with sales and marketing teams and involving in scientific engagement with external clients.

·        Provide scientific and technical training of group members and resolve scientific questions and/or other issues to meet client satisfaction.

·        Complete other assignment timely from upper management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·        Ph. D. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, Inflammation and Autoimmune disease, Immuno-oncology or any other life science discipline.

·        MS. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, Inflammation and Autoimmune disease, Immuno-oncology or any other life science discipline with at least 3 years of preclinical CRO experience.

·        Industrial experience in IMID animal model development is a plus.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

·        Knowledge and research experience in biology, molecular biology, pharmacology, or immunology.

·        Ability to follow the latest progress in Inflammation and Autoimmune Disease field and ability to design experiments for target validation independently.

·        Ability to work independently and communicate with clients under minimal supervision.

·        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative spirits, troubleshooting skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.

·        Good at literature reading and be able to proactively and creatively resolve different challenges.

·        Self-motivated, detail-oriented and goal-oriented.

·        Able to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

·        Report to: Director of IMID

·       Works with: Scientific Operation team at San Diego, US and Leiden, Netherland, Scientific Research & Innovation team, Global Biomarker Core, Scientific Engagement team, Cancer Pharma team, global Business Development team, Marketing team, Scientific Operation team.
