Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a container management and racking warehouse system, where you will play a vital role in processing and maintaining containers and racks. Our facility handles a variety of tasks, from cleaning and processing totes to repairing large plastic containers.

Responsibilities

Operate and manage the washing machine for plastic totes, including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning.Stand throughout the entire shift with scheduled breaks.Remove manufacturer tags from containers and racks in the process lanes (inbound).Utilize a hand-scanner to process incoming totes and racks.Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers, standing throughout the shift.Operate a forklift for the majority of the day, but also perform tasks off the forklift as needed.Load and unload trucks, ensuring the correct containers are shipped by reading paperwork.

Essential Skills

Experience with forklift operation, inventory management, RF scanners, and material handling.At least 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience.Ability to pass a forklift test, which includes driving forward and backward through cones and lifting pallets.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to work 10 hours of overtime.Availability to work on Saturdays.

Work Environment

The role requires standing for the entire shift with breaks and involves working with various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, hand-scanners, hand drills, and washing machines. The environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to wear appropriate attire for safety and efficiency.

This is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
