Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker in a challenging and rewarding industrial environment. This role involves working around pumps to transfer chemicals, using forklift equipment, and handling various tasks related to the transfer and management of liquid chemicals.

ResponsibilitiesOperate pumps to transfer chemicals safely and efficiently.Utilize forklift equipment in an industrial setting.Connect hoses to tanks to transfer liquid chemicals to totes and drums.Manually or using a sit-down forklift, move totes of chemicals weighing approximately 35 pounds.Verify products on trucks or those being unloaded through written documentation.Label drums and totes accurately.Perform consistent heavy lifting.Work in the peroxide transloading and hazardous material transloading departments to transfer chemicals.Drive a Spotter truck to move containers around the property as needed.Maintain and clean the work area to ensure a safe working environment..Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a heavy-duty, industrial environment where safety is paramount, especially near hazardous chemicals. The work involves both indoor and outdoor tasks, with approximately 50% of the day spent outside. Candidates must be comfortable in a non-union setting with about 100 employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
