**Immediate Hirring For Line Operator** Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Line 1 Operating Team. This role involves operating within a dynamic production line environment, where tasks are rotated every eight-hour shift. Key duties include placing blades on a conveyor line for processing through an oven/furnace, utilizing hand tools to transfer them to a press, cooling them in a quench, and preparing them for painting and quality inspection before shipment. Responsibilities + Operate and rotate through four different positions on Line 1 during an eight-hour shift. + Utilize hand tools to handle blades from furnace to press, and then to quench for cooling. + Hang blades on a line for painting and conduct quality inspections before shipment. + Work collaboratively with team members to maintain production flow. + Perform tasks with attention to detail to ensure high-quality production standards. Essential Skills + General labor and production experience. + Ability to work in manufacturing settings. + Strong critical thinking skills. + Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate effectively. + Proficiency in measuring and assembly line operations. + Attention to detail for identifying quality defects. Work Environment The work environment is clean and well-organized, featuring a production line, welding department, shipping/receiving, and engineering department. While conditions can get hot near the furnace, the facility prioritizes safety and efficiency. Employees are expected to adhere to a rotating shift schedule, with openings on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Orientation begins at 6 AM, where new hires will engage in a comprehensive introduction to the company and its operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
