Job Description
Join our team as a Precaster where you will play a crucial role in assembling metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams. Your daily tasks will involve cleaning and preparing molds, pouring, and finishing concrete. This position entails various activities related to the manufacturing of precast and pre-stressed concrete.
ResponsibilitiesFrequently climb in and out of forms that are 5-6 feet tall and narrow.Read and understand the Production Schedule, adhering to time frames.Assist with the setup and stripping of concrete forms.Help with filling and leveling of concrete castings.Participate in housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shop environment.Essential SkillsProficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.Capability to climb in and out of 5-6 foot tall narrow forms.Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and climb for extended periods.Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch accuracy.Additional Skills & QualificationsDrama-free attitude with a cooperative spirit.Skill in using concrete finishing tools.Experience with heavy equipment such as overhead cranes.Woodworking skills are preferable.Welding, maintenance, and quality control experience are a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work inside a large precast concrete manufacturing facility that produces a variety of products such as burial vaults, stairways, septic tanks, and custom projects. The production floor operates with a crew of 5-10 people across six different zones, each requiring distinct skills and concrete mixes. The environment is active and can be dirty, with concrete dust and splatter, but it offers a vibrant team setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
