**Job Title: Precaster** **Job Description** Join our team as a Precaster, where you will play a vital role in assembling metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams. Your daily tasks will include cleaning and preparing molds, pouring concrete, and finishing concrete products. This position involves various activities related to the manufacturing of precast and pre-stressed concrete, and you can expect to get hot, sweaty, and dirty as you contribute to our production process. **Responsibilities** + Frequently climb and hop in and out of forms that are 5-6 feet tall and narrow. + Read and understand the Production Schedule and adhere to time frames. + Assist with the setup and stripping of concrete forms. + Help with filling and leveling of the concrete castings. + Participate in housekeeping tasks to help clean the shop. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. + Must be able to climb in and out of 5-6 feet tall forms that are narrow. + Capability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and climb for extended periods. + Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Drama-free with a good attitude, able to work well with others. + Ability to use concrete finishing tools. + Experience with heavy equipment such as overhead cranes. + Some woodworking skills are preferable. + Welding, maintenance, and quality control skills are a plus. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers you the opportunity to choose your career path with potential promotion to Precaster 2 within six months. You will be inside on the production floor with a crew of 5-10 people, working in different zones requiring distinct skills and concrete mixes. The shop is large with open doors, and it is a dirty environment with concrete dust and splatter. We have a total of 150 employees. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
