**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play an integral role in manufacturing high-quality metallic seals used in jet engines, rockets, and more. You'll have the opportunity to work in a clean, well-lit environment, with a focus on precision and quality. **Responsibilities** + Operate roll formers and polishing lathes to create metal seals, ensuring precision and quality. + Load sheet metal bands onto roll-formers and use a foot pump to operate the machine, producing circular seals. + Inspect parts as they are manufactured, ensuring they meet quality standards. + Polish seals using sandpaper, either by hand or with a machine. + Assist in the shearing department to cut metal for welders. + For MO II roles, handle larger seals up to 8 feet in diameter, requiring advanced skills in measurement and machine setup. + Operate semi-automatic TIG welders to weld thin strips of sheet metal into metal bands. + Inspect welds and conduct final part checks using magnifiers, gauges, micrometers, and calipers. + Read job travelers and provide approval stamps on inspected parts. + Perform data entry and utilize Microsoft Excel for record-keeping. **Essential Skills** + Prior manufacturing experience and a passion for the industry. + Aptitude for math with basic counting skills and experience using measuring tools such as calipers. + Ability to work independently and take ownership of the process. + Strong ability to read and follow instructions efficiently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001 is preferred. + Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. **Why Work Here?** Work with a company that values growth and development, offering a tiered system for machine operators with opportunities for raises.
