Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving and auditing incoming materials, conducting daily cycle counts of inventory, and processing jobs via computer systems. You will also handle the processing of materials to return to the warehouse or suppliers, package materials for shipping, expedite and communicate line down parts to the appropriate work centers, and file documentation in accordance with department procedures.

Work Environment
The position operates on a Monday to Friday shift and may last 12-18 months with the potential to convert based on performance and business needs. The work environment is moderate in temperature and noise level. The role requires physical activities such as sitting, walking, using hands for various tasks, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. You will work under deadlines and may need to work overtime occasionally. Strong vision abilities and the capability to read and interpret data are required. Expect a mix of computer terminal work, meetings, phone calls, and other communication activities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
