**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The role involves conducting inventory and cycle counts multiple times a week, tracking orders, and handling both raw food ingredients and finished products. You will spend approximately one hour each day working in a freezer environment to pull materials. The job also includes using electric pallet jacks, with the opportunity to operate a sit-down forklift upon conversion. Additionally, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving duties. **Responsibilities** + Perform inventory and cycle counts 4-5 times a week. + Track and manage orders effectively. + Handle raw food ingredients and finished products. + Work in a freezer environment for pulling materials for up to 1 hour per day. + Utilize electric pallet jacks for material handling. + Operate a sit-down forklift upon conversion. + Execute shipping and receiving tasks. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience. + Proficient in using computers. + Experience with cycle counts. + Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, or other warehouse equipment. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic computer skills are required as most tasks are manual. + Must possess a valid driver's license for forklift operation under company insurance upon conversion. **Why Work Here?** Join a diverse and dynamic work environment with opportunities for skill development and advancement. The production floor primarily communicates in Spanish. Our warehouse team consists of 18 members across three shifts. Please be aware that the environment contains peanuts, almonds, walnuts, and cinnamon. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Escondido, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $21.25/hr.
