**Immediate Hiring for Maintenance Helper Position** **Can start ASAP** **Job Description** The Helper plays a crucial role in supporting the Technician by assisting in repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment. This position involves conducting quality control analysis to evaluate performance while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment. + Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. + Assist in repairing conveyor belts and industrial machinery. + Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs. + Record repairs and maintenance performed. + Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. + Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. + Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles. + Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. + Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices. + Provide assistance throughout the yard as needed. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. + General labor skills in production, maintenance, sorting, cleaning, and sweeping. + Experience with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. + Possession of a valid Driver's license. **Please apply to the job posting by submitting your application.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
